HARUN M. YIMAM

Harun Yimam is a member of the firm and has significant experience in the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications. He is skilled in prosecuting patent applications in electrical and mechanical technologies including wireless communications, image forming apparatuses, medical devices, semiconductors, control systems, various display technologies, user interfaces for mobile devices, and digital printer technologies.

Prior to joining Jefferson IP LAW in 2010, Mr. Yimam was a member of an established intellectual property law firm in Washington, DC where he drafted, revised, and prosecuted numerous patent applications in areas including medical devices, wireless communications, digital printer technologies, image forming apparatuses, and portable wireless devices.

Prior to that, Mr. Yimam was a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office at Patent Technology Center 2600, where he examined patent applications in the areas of interactive video distribution, wireless communications, graphical user interfaces, printed circuit boards, access control and digital media.
