Robert Y. Raheja is a partner of the firm. As a Patent Attorney, he provides services in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His technical expertise covers an extensive range of RF, microwave and satellite communication systems including CDMA, TDMA, GSM and 4G LTE technologies. His expertise carries over to related technologies such as RF circuit design, RFID technologies, antenna design, RF filters and transmission line systems..

Prior to joining Jefferson IP Law, Mr. Raheja was a partner in an established intellectual property law firm in Washington DC where he gained experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of electrical, computer, satellite, telecommunication, aeronautical, navigational and networking systems and devices, semiconductor arts, solid state devices, electromechanical devices, power systems, video displays, optical devices, memory and storage systems and mechanical arts.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Raheja worked for eight years as a RF Design Engineer specializing in design, optimization, deployment, benchmarking, expansion, enhancement, and migration of wireless phone and data networks from 1G to 2G and 2G to 3G technologies such as AMPS, TDMA (IS-54, IS-136), CDMA2000 (IS-95), GSM and GPRS.
